Support Worker 7 hours per week. Confident Driver

 2 x per week times 12pm-2pm or 1pm -3pm approx.

We are looking for a support worker who has a genuine passion for providing excellent care and can demonstrate professionalism and commitment.

7 hours per week on a flexible basis by negotiation.

Job Title:  Support Worker, Would suit someone willing to work in Ayr.

Pay £12.00 per hour

Previous experience is essential

This person lives on the Prestwick side of Ayr in their family home.

The person requiring care is in full command of her Mental Abilities but needs some additional support with cooking and some practical tasks such as light housework, including ironing as well support with some personal care needs and with attending appointments. The level of support can vary as the persons physical wellbeing can vary.

You will be insured to drive the persons car which is an automatic vehicle.

It is important to recognise that the care and support you will assist with will be provided within the person’s home, therefore confidentiality and respect for the family’s privacy and daily routine is of the upmost importance.

You will be working as a personal assistant and companion to the person. It is important that you always treat the person with dignity and respect. You should have a positive, flexible and friendly personality

The Employer is looking for someone reliable who can come in on a flexible basis (with advanced notice) depending on the person’s requirements.

Skills required

A genuinely caring, outgoing person with the ability to be friendly and supportive when necessary

A calm and patient person who will not become easily flustered or impatient

Able to use own initiative whilst being aware of the person’s needs.

Strong awareness of respect and dignity for the person ensuring this always occurs

Excellent communications skills with the person and their family and friends

Previous experience in a caring role is essential.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
