Hours: 5HRS PER WEEK X 2 WORKERS ( 2:1 SUPPORT REQUIRED ) TERM TIME & 10HRS PER WEEK X 2 PAS NON TERM TIME ( SCHOOL HOLIDAYS )
part time post.
Salary: – £14.00 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave pro rata.
The position would suit someone patient, energetic and outgoing who is able to work as part of a team.
Must be a driver with own transport and business use on your Car Ins. – Mileage will be paid at 40 per mile for using your car for work purposes.
Must have previous experience working with children with additional support needs.
Hours to be discussed at interview.
The hours would be to support a young boy of 12. The Support will be to mainly take him out to do activities.
This post is to provide support to a young person who has a range of health issues including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and Global Developmental Delay. He also has pica so can chew / eat things that he should not and has incontinence issues, therefore potentially changing pads.
He is sociable and enjoys nature, swimming, dancing, music, and is keen to source groups in the community that he could join with likeminded people . Part of the role will be to look into community groups that might be suitable for his needs.

Probationary Period attached is 6 months to this post. During this period, either party can end the employment by giving the other one weeks’ notice.
