Children’s Part Time Support Worker/Driver
Driver 8 hours per week. Day time school holidays term time evenings and weekends.

Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave
Working hours – 8 hours per week. You will be required to work day time hours over the school summer holidays and 2 days per week after school (from 3.45), ad hoc evenings and weekends once person is back at school .
Looking for support worker for a young person with special needs.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the young person is Safe and feels secure and are able to participate in activities are of interest.
This will enable her parents to have a break in order to recharge their batteries and provide the attention the young person needs.
You should be energetic and outgoing with a positive, flexible and friendly personality and a calming and positive nature.
Responsibilities and Duties:
You may be asked to collect young person from school, take them back to the family home, help them with homework, prepare light meals and snacks, food and do activities with them.
You will support the young person with activities, planning and delivering activities that will meaningfully occupy the them.
You will help with snacks and the preparation of light meals at meal times (cooking if interested)
You will provide support with trips (e.g. to the park, local shops, day outs as required)
You will support bed time routines, ensuring teeth are brushed, face and hands washed and with reading the young person.
You may be asked to accompany the young person to appointments, outings and activities when asked by the main care giver.
Post subject to successful reference and PVG checks.
Two up to date Reference contacts are required one of which must be from a present or previous employer. In addition, a new PVG enhanced disclosure will be required prior to appointment (disclosure cost to be met by the employer).
Probationary Period attached, 6 months to this post. During this period, either party can end the employment by giving the other one weeks’ notice.
