Hi

My name is Zoe I am a young disabled woman living in Fairlie North Ayrshire. I live with my mum and Dad and Golden Retriever Honey. I am looking for a caring enthusiastic person to join a small, friendly team to help with evenings and alternate weekend days and evenings.

A typical evening shift would be 7:30pm – 10:30pm. These hours could be varied following discussion with the employer. Alternate weekend shifts would also be required.  A typical weekend shift consists of daytime hours 9:00am – 4:00pm and evenings 7:30pm – 10:30pm

. In addition to these hours, you may also be asked to cover staff sickness and holidays.  You may also be asked to accompany Zoe and her family on holiday as and when required.

Duties of the job include

The job includes but is not limited to:

* Personal care.

* Performing household duties.

* Cooking.

* Assisting to maintain my medical needs and physical fitness.

* Assisting to do my shopping.

* Accompanying me to work.

Accompanying me to meet friends and family for food or drinks

Applicants must  be comfortable around dogs.

Applicants will be required to accompany me to go swimming and horse riding occasionally.

Car drivers are needed to drive my wheelchair accessible vehicle and female workers only need apply as permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Successful candidates must be part of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and provide  2 satisfactory references one of which must be your most recent employer. The successful candidate will be employed directly by a Personal Employer through a registered PAYE scheme. All statutory rights apply including paid holidays, statutory sick pay and pension scheme contributions (NEST pensions).

Rate of pay is £13.20 per hour
