1 P/T Male Support workers , 10hrs Muirkirk or employer willing to offer 1 x 16 to 20hrs per week
Post 10hrs | Male Personal Assistant
To work closely and flexibly with a young man who has a Learning Difficulty and is non-verbal, he communicates using Makaton. The role is to ensure he is appropriately supported to participate in a full range of opportunities in his life and to continue to develop and follow his hobbies and interests.

Employer | You will be employed by the family , who will be assisted to administer payroll and undertake the necessary employment support responsibilities by a relevant support organisation . |
Key Duties and Responsibilities
|
You will be responsible for supporting the gentleman to engage in all aspects of community life and activities as directed by his family.
Being flexible is a key component to this job and you will be guided by the family about the particular activities he wants to participate in at particular times and you are expected to support his choices. It would be beneficial for those interested in the post to be quite a sporty person who enjoys playing pool and snooker or swimming, as well as trying to introduce a more sport activity based structure to his days . The young man enjoys going out to eat and would like someone to take him, this will assist with him building a relationship. You may at times be required to provide companionship in his own home. |

Other | You must have a full clean UK driving licence that has been held for 3 years or more and have business use on your car Ins. Mileage for work purposes will be given.
